As part of the joint data collection operations for the main enumeration of the Fourth General Population and Housing Census (4th RGPH) and the basic module of the General Agriculture and Livestock Census (RGAE), the National Coordination of the Fourth General Population and Housing Census (4th RGPH) and that of the General Agriculture and Livestock Census (RGAE) are recruiting thirty-two thousand fifty-nine (32,059) Cameroonians as Census Agents .

Contract type:

Fixed-term contract (CDD).

Missions and responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the National Coordination Units for the Fourth General Population and Housing Census and the General Agriculture and Livestock Census, the Census Enumerator’s roles are to:

  • draw up a list of households in its Enumeration Area;
  • administer the questionnaires in households;
  • transfer the data to the Team Leader.

Candidate profile:

The candidate must:

  • To be of Cameroonian nationality;
  • Be at least 18 years old and no more than 40 years old on January 1st of the current year;
  • possess at least a Baccalaureate diploma, GCE A/L or any other equivalent diploma;
  • To be physically fit;
  • Master at least one of the local languages ​​spoken in the district requested for collection;
  • Be available for the entire duration of the operation.
  • Knowing how to use a phone with an Android system;

Having experience in the field of census or statistical surveys would be an asset.

Place and deadline for submitting applications:

Applications for pre-selection must be submitted online only by completing the form below: https://census-cameroon.com/fr/application_ag.php no later than November 8, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. However, for candidates from districts without internet access, registration must be completed using a physical information sheet, which must be submitted to the relevant Sub-Prefecture. This information sheet is available at the relevant Sub-Prefectures and District Delegations of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MINADER) and the Ministry of Livestock, Fisheries and Animal Industries (MINEPIA).

Only shortlisted candidates are required to submit a physical application.

Application file:

Shortlisted candidates will be allowed to undergo training and will be required to submit a file containing the following documents:

  • A stamped application addressed to the National Coordinators of the 4th RGPH and RGAE; | © https://minajobs.net/ 
  • a Curriculum Vitae demonstrating experience in collecting statistical data;
  • a photocopy of the valid National Identity Card or the valid provisional identity document (receipt) legalized at the police station;
  • a photocopy of the highest diploma;
  • a medical certificate issued by an authorized doctor dated less than three months ago attesting to the ability to carry out fieldwork;
  • photocopies of documents attesting to experience in collecting statistical data, if applicable.

Note: For candidates who are Public Servants, authorization from their superiors is required.

All shortlisted candidates must present themselves on the first day of training with their complete application file. This training will take place over 28 days in all borough capitals on a date that will be communicated to them in due course.

Note:

  • Any candidate who applies to multiple districts will have their application rejected;
  • Any incomplete application or one containing false documents will be rejected outright.
  • Any candidate who registered to respond to the 2021 or 2023 call for applications must register again
