As a service provider for international cooperation for sustainable development and international education, we are committed to a decent future worldwide. We have over 50 years of experience in a wide range of fields, from promoting the economy and employment to fostering peace and security, and addressing energy and environmental issues. GIZ’s diverse expertise is valued globally and sought after by the German Federal Government, European Union institutions, the United Nations, the private sector, and governments of other countries. We collaborate with businesses, civil society organizations, and scientific bodies, thereby contributing to effective interaction between development policy and other policy areas. Our main client is the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
