RECRUITMENT ANNOUNCEMENT
As part of its team expansion, a local company operating in the trade and distribution sector is recruiting for the following position:
– Job Title: CASHIERS
Location: Douala – Yaoundé – Bafoussam – Kribi Contract Type: Permanent contract after a successful probationary period Working Hours: Full-time
– Main Responsibilities
– Ensure the prompt and accurate recording of sales at the cash register;
– Collect payments (cash, mobile money, other methods);
– Prepare receipts and invoices in accordance with internal procedures;
– Ensure the proper maintenance of the cash register and the accuracy of balances;
– Greet and assist customers courteously and professionally;
– Handle simple customer complaints and escalate them to management;
– Participate in opening and closing the cash register;
– Strictly adhere to internal control and security procedures;
– Produce daily cash register reports.
– Desired Profile
– Education: Minimum of a BEPC/CAP/Baccalaureate;
– Age: Minimum 22 years;
– Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years in a similar position;
– Required Skills:
o Good command of cash handling operations;
o Ability to handle figures accurately;
o Good presentation and customer service skills;
– Assets:
o Knowledge of cash register software or basic computer tools;
o Honesty, punctuality, and a sense of responsibility.
