Job Title: Small and Medium Enterprise Account Manager

Main Mission: Develop and manage the client portfolio to achieve
assigned objectives.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
Research, development, and management of the SME client portfolio
• Implement the sales strategy related to the clients in their portfolio as well as the
overall objectives of the DCE;
• Prospect for new clients and offer them suitable products;
• Ensure follow-up with prospects;
• Listen to clients and anticipate their needs;
• Advise clients and offer products that meet their needs and expectations;
• Interact with internal bank entities to meet customer expectations with a view to their satisfaction
and loyalty;
• Develop the assigned portfolio of clients and prospects.
Participation in strategy and operations:
• Negotiate the terms of implementation of proposed solutions and products, and implement
risk management decisions;
• Structure financial offers and commercial proposals in line with customer expectations, while
respecting regulatory and internal bank constraints;
• Structure the commercial offer by leveraging internal expertise and ensure negotiation;
• Actively participate in the synergy of business lines to reach a consensus on decisions to be made and
actions to be taken;
• Contribute to risk management in collaboration with the Risk Management Department;
• Participate in defining the risk policy and its implementation for clients;
• Propose the portfolio budget in accordance with the bank’s commercial policy, and monitor the execution
of the approved budget;
• Conduct competitive intelligence for the market segments of the portfolio;
• Recover outstanding portfolio commitments;
• Prepare periodic activity reports and portfolio information.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED SKILLS
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree (BAC+4) in banking and finance, business,
Marketing, ITB Level II Diploma, or any other
related discipline;
• At least 5 years of professional experience in
a similar position;
• Bilingualism (French-English) would be an asset.
✓ Knowledge
• Good knowledge of the banking environment; • Good knowledge of the bank’s
business lines/products/services ; • Good knowledge of banking regulations. ✓ Skills • Sales and commercial negotiation techniques; • Preparation of service offers; • Preparation of loan files; • Reporting methods; • Office software (especially Excel and PowerPoint); • Use of Flexcube. ✓ Personal Qualities • Integrity/probity • Interpersonal skills/listening skills • Organization/methodical approach/rigor • Self-control
