LOCATION:
Douala – Yaoundé – Bafoussam
MISSIONS AND ACTIVITIES:
Reporting to a Credit Supervisor at the branch, the intern’s main responsibilities are to create and develop a healthy portfolio of credit clients.
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
Prospecting for clients;
Analyzing loan applications;
Determining client creditworthiness; Determining repayment capacity based on the loan application;
Analyzing all risks inherent in a loan file; Drafting summary reports for the credit committee;
Monitoring the steps of the credit process;
Ensuring loan repayments for clients in their portfolio;
Monitoring client activity and loan utilization;
Selling all products and services offered by the institution to potential clients.
QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of a high school diploma plus training in Marketing, Commerce and Sales, Accounting, Banking and Finance, Law, or other related disciplines;
• Prior field experience is required;
experience in the credit sector is preferred.
• Bilingualism (French-English) would be an asset.
