Madlyn Cazalis is a leader in natural cosmetics in Sub-Saharan Africa. The group has been operating since 2012 and has gradually diversified with numerous companies in sectors such as consulting, industrial engineering, agri-food, fintechs, entertainment and real estate.
As part of the expansion of the group’s activities in Cameroon and internationally, we are looking for a Corporate Lawyer in charge of monitoring and following the group’s legal and regulatory obligations.

POSITION
Corporate Lawyer
MISSIONS
Integrated within the Holding Presidency, the Corporate Lawyer will take part in:
– Protecting the company’s interests in business law, contracts, litigation and intellectual property, including trademarks, patents and copyrights
– High-level balance sheet operations and the missions of the Holding Presidency
– Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, partnership agreements and other legal documents
– Working with external lawyers and coordinating defense or conflict resolution strategies
– Issues in all areas of law, compliance and Corporate Social Responsibility with all group entities in all countries and around the world
– Preparing/anticipating major decision-making in coordination with other departments
– Participating in internal restructuring operations with the departments concerned
– Participating in the management of contractual relationships with customers and litigation management
– Informing and advising all internal teams on any issue relating to corporate law PROFILE SOUGHT – University legal training BAC+5 (or equivalent) preferably in business law, commercial law or corporate law. – Minimum 5 years’ experience acquired in a firm and/or legal department of a group or family business – Solid knowledge of corporate law – Very good level of fluent and legal English (bilingual would be a plus) – Organizational skills combined with great rigor – Excellent writing, interpersonal and negotiation skills – Strong autonomy, ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure – Diplomacy, discretion, team spirit, sense of service, ability to anticipate and react – Mastery of IT tools SALARY
Between 150,000 and 350,000 FCFA fixed (Depending on diplomas and experience) + Fees
