Each year, Helen Keller welcomes interns to participate in concrete projects in our national offices. With this in mind, Helen Keller Intl-Cameroon is launching a call for applications for the recruitment of a Finance intern based in Yaoundé .
Objective of the internship
The intern will provide support to the Finance team in the daily management of accounting and financial operations in the Cameroon office, while developing their professional skills in an international environment.
Main responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Finance Officer, the intern will provide support to the Finance department in carrying out its day-to-day activities. His/her main responsibilities will include:
· Updating archive boxes containing supporting documents;
· Verification of the completeness of accounting supporting documents in their respective files on SharePoint;
· Digitization and classification of financial documents;
· Support for the verification and pre-accounting of documents transmitted for payment;
· Contribution to the preparation of the SASNIM campaign of November 2025;
· Execution of any other task assigned by the financial supervisor.
Profile sought
· Hold a minimum BAC+2 level diploma in Accounting, Management or equivalent discipline;
· Master the basic concepts of accounting according to the OHADA standard;
· Have a good knowledge of IT tools;
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, etc.);
· Have a good level in French or English (reading, speaking, writing); .
Internship conditions
· Workplace: Helen Keller Intl Cameroon Office, Yaoundé
· Hours: Full time (Monday to Friday)
· Compensation: A monthly compensation is provided according to internal policies
· Supervision: The intern will be supervised by the Financial Manager
