Job Responsibilities
: Apply and uphold SABC’s industrial principles;
Evaluate the technical requirements of the electrical components of industrial projects, translated into investment budgets;
Validate studies, integrating QHSE aspects, compliance with SABC standards, best practices, technical guidelines and regulations;
Evaluate the completion times of the electrical components of industrial projects by developing project execution schedules;
Ensure the scheduling of the electrical components of industrial projects, taking into account production programs and the schedule of major technical shutdowns;
Prepare tender documents and specifications for consultations;
Supervise the analysis of bids for validation and award;
Carry out industrial electrical projects in SABC and SEMC plants and commission them;
Size a medium-voltage electrical installation supplied by an extra-high-voltage network;
Size a low-voltage electrical installation supplied by an extra-high-voltage network
; Analyze Single-line diagrams for medium and low voltage systems and ensuring operational safety.
Guaranteeing the quality and timely execution of electrical projects in accordance with best practices.
Maintaining rigorous monitoring of electrical equipment dedicated to SABC’s electrical projects.
Participating in the optimization of the total cost of ownership of critical electrical equipment.
Participating in the development and ensuring adherence to the budget for SABC’s electrical projects.
