JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under the direct supervision of the Management Control Manager, the Management Controller will be
responsible for implementing the process of controlling the efficient use of resources mobilized to achieve budgetary objectives and manage the company’s financial performance. They will communicate operational results and budget forecasts to decision-making bodies to inform their strategies. They will propose corrective measures to improve the company’s profitability. MAIN ACTIVITIES Development of management procedures and tools • Participate in the development and implementation of reporting tools for the General Management; • Design dashboards; • Participate in defining management procedures and ensure their compliance; • Support managers in developing/updating action plans; Budgetary Control and Financial Performance Management • Conduct critical reviews of accounting and budgetary data; • Develop forward-looking budget analyses; • Propose various corrective actions (modification of objectives and budget deadlines); • Model and update projected income statements; • Monitor operating and investment budgets; • Monitor the application of the expenditure commitment procedure; • Reconcile accounting statements with budget monitoring commitments; • Conduct monthly variance analyses between financial objectives and results. Sales and Margin Monitoring • Control and distribute daily sales figures; • Control and validate reconciliation statements; • Supervise the monitoring of outstanding customer balances; • Participate in margin control and analyze consistency with store dashboards; • Monitor and analyze markdowns. • Participate in any other activity as requested by management (professional seminars,
budget conferences, awareness sessions, training, etc.).
PROFILE
Education and Professional Experience:
Academic Level: Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Management Control, Finance, Economics, Auditing, or Accounting.
Language Level: Fluent French and Intermediate English.
Professional Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the field, particularly in
management, budgeting, and budget monitoring. Experience in the retail sector would be an
asset.
REQUIRED SKILLS FOR THE POSITION:
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis (multidimensional and descriptive),
statistics, economic and accounting analysis;
• Good understanding of the company culture (business lines, operations, values,
codes, languages);
• Knowledge of operational risks related to the company’s field of activity;
• Proficiency in accounting and financial techniques;
• Proficiency in information systems (Excel, spreadsheets, databases, accounting ERP);
• Proficiency in budget management;
• Strong organizational and planning skills;
• Attention to detail and precision.

• Drafting/presentation of management reports;
• Budget preparation and analysis;
