Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to manage all aspects of payroll processing for our organization. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in Cameroonian labor regulations, payroll calculations, and advanced Excel skills, with the ability to work while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees in full compliance with Cameroonian labor laws
Calculate salaries, bonuses, deductions, taxes (IR/IRPP), and social security contributions (CNPS, pension funds)
Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and contract modifications
Prepare monthly payroll reports and submit statutory declarations to CNPS and tax authorities
Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality
Monitor changes in labor legislation and ensure continuous compliance
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to optimize payroll workflows
Ensure security and confidentiality of all payroll data.


Required Qualifications & Skills
Min 2 years of proven experience as a Payroll Officer
In-depth knowledge of Cameroonian payroll regulations: CNPS, IR/IRPP, labor code, statutory deductions
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel : formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis
Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet strict monthly deadlines
Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)
High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information
Experience managing payroll for 50+ employees preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience with payroll software; Sage, SAP, or similar platforms (added advantage)
Knowledge of contract law and labor dispute resolution
Professional certification in payroll or accounting (added advantage)
