MISSION
The Tax Specialist is an expert in tax law who advises and supports companies on tax-related issues. He ensures that tax obligations are met, optimizes the tax situation within the legal framework and liaises with the tax authorities.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Execution of the application of SYSCOHADA and Group procedures (MCS, HARP);
Analyzes all transactions with a tax impact: He provides advice on paying the least possible tax while respecting the legislation in force;
Provides tax assistance in operations with a view to its optimization;
Writes a detailed monthly audit report with recommendations to improve accounting practices;
Monthly calculation of taxes on the tax base;
Reconciles the calculated amounts with those paid into the accounts;
Completes monthly tax returns (including ETIE, balance of payments);
Leads the tax risk review committee;
Main contact in all tax disputes and with the Administrations. His mission is to defend the interests of the company and minimize risks;
Monthly analysis of all tax accounts;
Ensures the monitoring of the declaration and the registration of contracts
Profile
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Bac + 5 in Accounting (tax option)
At least 03 years experience in an accounting firm or in an industrial company
Technical skills
Technical competence in taxation and accounting;
Knowledge of accounting standards and tax rules;
Good knowledge of the Finance Act
Information processing;
Knowledge of JDE software.
