WE ARE RECRUITING KEY ACCOUNT MANAGERS
Union Bank of Cameroon Plc is currently seeking a Corporate
Account Manager for its head office in Douala, Cameroon. The position is open to both internal and external candidates.
JOB OBJECTIVES
▪ Implement the sales strategy in relation to the clients in their portfolio, as well as the overall objectives of the Management;
▪ Prospect for new clients and offer them suitable products;
▪ Ensure follow-up with prospects;
▪ Listen to clients and anticipate their needs;
▪ Advise clients and offer products that meet their needs and expectations;
▪ Interact with internal bank entities to meet client expectations with a view to their satisfaction and loyalty;
▪ Develop the portfolio of clients and prospects under their responsibility.
Job Profile
▪ Have at least 3 years of professional experience
in a similar position;
▪ Good understanding of the financial services sector
;
▪ Good knowledge of Cameroonian financial markets
;
▪ Good knowledge of banking services and products
and banking techniques;
▪ Sales and commercial negotiation techniques;
▪ Development of service offers;
▪ Loan application preparation;
▪ Reporting methods;
▪ Amplitude analysis;
TECHNICAL SKILLS INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
▪ Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (BAC+4) in banking and finance, business,
marketing, ITB Level II diploma, or any other
related discipline;
▪ Bilingualism (French-English) would be an asset;
▪ Proficiency in office software (especially Excel and PowerPoint);
▪ Integrity / Probity;
▪ Strong interpersonal skills / Active listening skills;
▪ Organization / Methodical approach / Rigor;
▪ Self-control;
▪ Good aptitude for working with numbers;

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
▪ Drive sales of the
bank’s products and services to businesses
▪ Prospect for new clients, schedule appointments, present offers to clients, and provide
banking advice
▪ Prepare business loan applications and identify
cross-selling opportunities in each
client relationship
▪ Link priorities and challenges to solutions to
create value for the bank and its clients
▪ Optimize account profitability by selling
additional products and services to the bank’s clients
▪ Drive collections on client accounts,
which will be used for foreign exchange transactions and
other activities
▪ Identify and develop banking relationships with
conglomerate institutions
▪ Ensure proper documentation throughout the
loan application and approval processclients’
long-term investments/facilities
