DOUALA PORT AUTHORITY The Douala Port Authority (PAD) is engaged in an ambitious program to transform and modernize the Port of Douala-Bonabéri. This ambition requires strengthening its governance, risk management, and internal control mechanisms. It is with this in mind that the Director General of the PAD is launching a call for applications for the recruitment of three (03) internal auditors for the 2026 fiscal year. The successful candidate will participate in carrying out assurance and consulting missions. In this capacity, they contribute to the evaluation of governance structures, risk management, performance improvement, and value creation within the company. Successful candidates will be responsible for: Participating in the preparation, execution, and closure of internal audit missions; Conducting audit work in accordance with the mission program and applicable professional standards; Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting the information necessary for conducting missions; Evaluating the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and internal control mechanisms; Identifying risks, control deficiencies, and opportunities for improvement; Preparing and documenting working papers; Participating in the drafting of audit reports and the formulation of recommendations; Monitoring the implementation of recommendations; Participating in the development and updating of risk and process mapping; Staying informed about professional standards and developments.

I. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Any Cameroonian citizen aged 45 or under who meets the following requirements may apply:

Education and Skills:
Required Degree: A Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3) in Auditing, Accounting, Finance, Management Control, Risk Management, Management, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
Principles, methods, and techniques of internal auditing;
International Standards on Internal Auditing of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA);
Principles of internal control and risk management;
Regulations applicable to public enterprises;
Port sector, supply chain, and main risks related to port activities;
Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
Excellent analytical, writing, and summarization skills.
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in internal auditing, external auditing, internal control, accounting, finance, or risk management. Experience in a Big Four accounting firm would be an asset.
Languages
: Proficiency in French or English (knowledge of the second language is an asset).

3. SUBMISSION OF THE APPLICATION FILE The application file must include the following documents:

  • A stamped, handwritten request addressed to the Director General of the Autonomous Port of Douala; Transportationmaritime
  • A certified copy of the birth certificate;
  • A certified copy of the diplomas;
  • A certified copy of the national identity card;
  • An extract from the criminal record dated less than three (03) months ago;
  • A detailed curriculum vitae;
  • Certified copies of work certificates;
  • Four (04) recent passport photos.

Complete applications must be submitted to the Secretariat of the Deputy Director of Human Resources of the Autonomous Port of Douala, located on the 3rd floor of the headquarters building, office 302, within thirty (30) working days from the date of signature of this notice (no later than September 7, 2026) – THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING APPLICATIONS IS EXTENDED TO SEPTEMBER 25, 2026

4. CANDIDATE SELECTION METHOD Candidate selection will take place in two stages:

  • A pre-selection based on application review;
  • Written tests (theoretical and practical), followed by psychotechnical tests.

Candidates who are successful at the end of these  stages will be invited to continue the recruitment process. Internships
