We have over 50 years of experience in a wide variety of fields, from promoting the economy and employment, to promoting peace and security, to energy and environmental issues. GIZ’s diverse expertise is valued worldwide and is in demand by the German Federal Government, the institutions of the European Union, the United Nations, the private sector, and governments of other countries. We collaborate with businesses, civil society actors, and scientific organizations, thus contributing to effective interaction between development policy and other policy areas. Our main client is the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
