RECRUITMENT OF FORTY (40) VOLUNTEERS IN THE REGIONS OF
ADAMAOUA, NORTH, EXTREME-NORTH, CENTER, OF CAMEROON OR (10)
PER REGION


The AFH is a secular, apolitical and non-profit association. This is an
Association which has a legal existence. It is made up of a staff of
dynamic young people who wish as much as possible to impact the lives of needy,
disadvantaged and vulnerable people by bringing a positive change to their lives and their daily lives.
Thus, the AFH aims to: “Contribute to improving the living conditions of
vulnerable people by providing food, material, health, educational solutions
, economic strengthening, psychosocial and legal support. So
that they are able to face different daily difficulties and achieve
social resilience.” As a result, we have several sectors where we will intervene:
HEALTH: Assist children and vulnerable people with particular health problems
. In particular (HIV, and other related illnesses) with the aim of providing them with psychological and material monitoring and
support; nutritional etc. Lots more advice.
Also financial support in possible measures to enable these people to be
autonomous and to achieve a state of resilience in the face of illness or their daily needs.
EDUCATION: Promote the schooling of vulnerable children, in particular, assist
households having difficulties with the schooling of their children, by granting either the
payment of school fees or school supplies. Provide advice to
children on strategies for academic success; also to parents on the conduct
to follow for the good academic progress of their children. Provide sponsored professional training
to adolescents who are already older, and ensure their social and
professional integration by supporting them after the training so that they can set up
income-generating activities (IGA). ECONOMY: Provide various supports to
make vulnerable households economically resilient. Unsealing households where
parents, children and adolescents are vulnerable due to specific characteristics,
in particular health, economic, or even due to their particular situations such as
(refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of war, people living with disability
, people suffering from specific illnesses such as HIV, etc.).
HUMAN RIGHTS: Advocate for the protection of human rights through
awareness-raising and by supporting victims of all kinds of violence, in particular
violence based on gender, physical, economic, psychological, sexual, With psychosocial, legal and judicial monitoring
if necessary, health etc.


Objective:
Recruitment of (40) Volunteers in the regions of Adamaoua, North,
Far North, Center, of Cameroon, i.e. 10 per region, for the implementation of
its activities.

Missions and responsibilities:
 The Volunteer will have the mission to:
 Master the strategies and mechanisms for setting up activities in the
region
 Ensure the implementation of its framework performance
 Participate in various meetings
 Promote the Association to partners
 Manage the missions entrusted and the activities assigned
 Ensure the documentation and archiving of its activities
 Attend awareness-raising activities (workshops, conferences, tables rounds,
educational talks, etc.)
 Good collaboration with management
 Good sense of teamwork
 Write activity reports
Required profile:
– Be at least 18 years old and at most 35 years old.
– Have at least a baccalaureate/GCE or any other equivalent diploma
– Have experience in community and/or humanitarian activities
(would be an asset)
– Good knowledge of IT tools
– Be available, proactive and committed
– Have strong capacity adaptation
– Excellent written and oral communication skills
– Ability to manage several tasks or workloads
– Good attention to detail to be able to analyze situations
– Know how to demonstrate rigor and organization
– Perfect command, written and oral, of French and/or English
– Speak one of the local languages ​​of the intervention area (would be an asset)
– Residing in the intervention area
