As part of strengthening its digital strategy, Canal 2 International is seeking a talented, dynamic, and passionate Community Manager with a strong interest in the media and digital world.
Main Responsibilities:
The Community Manager’s main responsibilities will include:
Defining and implementing the group’s digital communication strategy.
Managing and engaging with the official accounts of Canal 2 International and its subsidiaries on various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, etc.).
Creating and publishing engaging content (text, visuals, videos, stories, etc.) consistent with the brand image.
Moderating and monitoring interactions with online communities.
Planning publications and ensuring consistency with the editorial calendar.
Collaborate closely with editorial, technical, and sales teams to promote programs, campaigns, and events.
Conduct competitive intelligence and analyze the performance of published content.
Participate in the creation of new digital formats to enhance audience engagement.
Required Profile:

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Communication, Digital Marketing, Journalism, or a related field. • At
least two (2) years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a media outlet or communication agency. Excellent command of social media and community management tools (Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, YouTube Studio, etc.). Proven writing and storytelling skills. Good knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro). Creativity, organizational skills, and a team player. Broad general knowledge and a strong interest in Cameroonian current events, culture, and media.
