Context
As part of the development of its activities and the strengthening of its financial governance, Wafacash Central Africa, an Authorised Credit Institution in the category of Financial Institutions, is seeking a Financial Manager to lead the financial strategy and ensure compliance with accounting and tax standards.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the reliability of financial statements
2. Supervise and control incoming and outgoing cash flows
3. Ensure compliance with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations
4. Manage cash flow in both local currency and foreign currency
5. Manage relationships with external organizations (auditors, tax and social security advisors, supervisory bodies, regulators) on financial matters
6. Report on the financial situation to the Audit Committees
7. Prepare financial documentation for the Board of Directors
8. Prepare regulatory reports
9. Ensure the archiving of all accounting documents
Profile:
Education: Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar position
Key Skills:
– In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices
– Familiarity with financial tools and software that facilitate data management and analysis
– Mastery of the PCEC (Central African Accounting Standards) and the regulatory environment in the CEMAC zone
– Strong analytical and interpretation skills regarding financial ratios and cash flow
– Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and understandably
