The Cameroon Debt Recovery Company (SRC) is a publicly owned financial company with the State as its sole shareholder. Its main missions are:
1. The recovery of doubtful and disputed debts from financial institutions, public administrations, non-financial companies, and microfinance institutions;
2. The recovery of debts resulting from monetary judgments in favor of the State within the framework of legal actions in conjunction with the Minister of Justice;
3. The liquidation of financial institutions;
4. Asset management: As part of the implementation of its action plan, the SRC is currently seeking
accountants to strengthen its teams at its Head Office in Yaoundé.
Accountant Responsibilities:
– Maintain the company’s general and analytical accounting records.
– Process accounting entries for collection and liquidation transactions.
– Prepare periodic financial statements and the management dashboard;
– Monitor cash flow and perform bank reconciliations
– Ensure the accuracy of supporting documentation for expenses and revenues
– Manage tax and social security declarations in compliance with legal deadlines.
– Participate in inventory and year-end closing procedures.
– Collaborate with auditors during annual audits.
– Implement internal financial control procedures.
– Provide regular reporting of accounting activities to management.
Accountant Profile:
Education: Bachelor’s degree
(BAC+3/4) in Accounting, Management, Finance, or equivalent. Experience:
At least two (2) years of professional experience in a similar position; ideally in the financial or banking sector.
Skills:
Good computer skills and a basic understanding of Cameroonian tax law.
