As part of our expansion and the scaling of our operations, we are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to manage our infrastructure, optimize our CI/CD pipelines, and guarantee the availability, resilience, and security of our systems.
Main missions
As Lead DevOps Engineer , you will be the key person responsible for the automation, reliability, and performance of our cloud and on-premises infrastructure. You will lead (as needed) a small DevOps/SRE team and collaborate closely with the Backend, Frontend, Mobile, QA, and Security teams.
Key responsibilities:
Technical Management & Architecture
Define, implement and maintain the company’s DevOps architecture (CI/CD, monitoring, observability, security).
Oversee the modernization of the infrastructure: containerization, orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS/EKS, etc.).
Design scalable, resilient, and highly available environments.
Automate the deployment of backend, frontend, mobile and microservices applications.
Implement Zero-Downtime Deployment, Blue/Green, Canary Releases.
Environments & Automation
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins…).
Industrialize integration, automated testing, delivery, and continuous deployment.
Managing infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation…).
Manage the environments (Dev, QA, Preprod, Prod).
Security & Compliance
Strengthen DevSecOps practices (SAST/DAST scans, secrets management, hardening).
Ensuring compliance with fintech standards: PCI-DSS, log management, auditing, traceability.
Implement firewalling, WAF, IAM and security monitoring solutions.
Monitoring & Operations
Set up and maintain observability tools: logs, metrics, alerting (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK/EFK, CloudWatch…).
Monitor performance and optimize latency of APIs/financial transactions.
Ensuring incident management, RCA, continuous reliability improvement (SRE).
Team leadership
To mentor and develop the skills of a DevOps/SRE team.
Define standards, documentation and best practices.
Desired profile
Technical skills required
Solid mastery of at least one cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Excellent knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
Proficiency in CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins…).
Experience in Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi.
Excellent knowledge of Linux environments and scripting (Bash, Python).
Expertise in monitoring and observability (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).
Ability to manage databases and distributed systems (PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka…).
Knowledge of networks, VPNs, reverse proxies, DNS, Nginx/Traefik.
Additional advantages
Experience in a FinTech or security-sensitive environment.
Knowledge of KYC, anti-fraud and financial transaction issues.
Cloud certification (AWS/Azure/GCP) or DevOps preferred.
Knowledge of SRE practices (SLO, SLA, Error Budget).
