JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our SME, specializing in the import/export of chemical products for the food industry, is recruiting an accountant to strengthen our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting management, monitoring financial flows related to our international activities, and internal reporting.
REQUIRED PROFILE:
1. Education: Baccalaureate (G2) or equivalent (with 2 years of higher education, such as a BTS in Accounting or equivalent).
2. Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional experience in accounting management. 3. Technical Skills:
– Proficiency in accounting entries, bank reconciliation, and monthly closings.
– Knowledge of applicable tax and social security regulations (in the context of import/export).
– Proficiency in accounting and office software (advanced Excel, standard accounting software).
– Ability to work on international transactions and understand intra- and extra-EU trade flows.
4. PERSONAL SKILLS:
o Rigor, analytical skills, and strong organizational skills.
o Autonomy, a strong sense of confidentiality, and respect for deadlines.
o Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
5. LANGUAGES:
Fluent French; professional English is an asset.
MAIN DUTIES:
a) Record and monitor accounting transactions (general and analytical accounting).
b) Monitor accounts payable and receivable, payments, and bank reconciliations.
c) Prepare periodic financial statements and internal reports.
d) Participate in tax and social security filings in accordance with legal requirements.
e) Contribute to the optimization of accounting processes and the improvement of internal controls.
f) Support internal and external audits as needed.
g) Collaborate with the import/export departments to ensure financial traceability of transactions.
