1. Key Responsibilities and Performance Areas: Main Mission
Financial Accounting and Reporting
>> Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements (balance sheets, P&L, cash flow reports).
>> Manage general ledger management and ensure proper classification of expenses and revenues. >> Implement, monitor, and improve internal financial controls to minimize risks and errors. Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Planning » Lead annual budgeting and forecasting exercises in line with strategic objectives. >> Provide periodic variance analysis reports with clear explanations and corrective action proposals. >> Monitor financial KPIs, cash flows, and working capital to optimize company resources. Taxation and Regulatory Compliance » Ensure strict compliance with Cameroonian tax laws, including VAT, CNPS (social contributions), corporate tax, and local levies. >> Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies during audits, reviews, and inspections. » Prepare and file statutory declarations and regulatory reports (DSF, CEMAC zone requirements). Treasury Management » Oversees banking relationships, cash management, and secure timely fund availability for operations. >> Ensure payment of suppliers, staff salaries, and statutory obligations within deadlines. >> Optimize treasury operations and minimize financial risks such as currency exposure. Team Leadership and Cross-Functional Support >> Lead and train the accounting and finance team to ensure operational excellence. >> Support station managers with financial reporting, inventory controls, and budget adherence. >> Collaborate with procurement, operations, and human resources for cost control and expense monitoring. Risk Management and Strategic Support >> Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies. >> Provide strategic insights to management for business decision-making. >> Contribute to investment analysis, expansion projects, and partnership evaluation. 2. Qualifications. Education and Experience

Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification such as DSCG, ACCA, CPA is a strong advantage).
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance and accounting, ideally in the oil and gas, energy, or distribution sectors. Should have experience with accounting software and ERP systems.

» Leadership abilities and proven experience managing
teams.
» Excellent command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
>> Strong interpersonal and communication skills (French and English proficiency).
>> High integrity, attention to detail, and results-oriented.
