Main Duties:
The Accounting Officer’s main responsibility will be to ensure the accounting, financial, and budgetary monitoring of projects in accordance with internal procedures, the requirements of technical and financial partners, and the regulations in force in Cameroon.
In this capacity, they will be specifically responsible for:
Maintaining project accounting records;
Ensuring the compliance of accounting and financial operations;
Monitoring project budgets and analyzing expenditures; Producing periodic financial statements, reports, and dashboards; Participating in the preparation of financial reports for donors; Verifying supporting documents and accounting entries; Monitoring cash transactions and bank reconciliations; Monitoring cash transactions and bank reconciliations. The candidate must meet the following conditions: Professional Experience Demonstrate at least five (5) years of professional experience in a similar position; Have proven experience in the accounting and financial monitoring of projects.
