Description of CREA INVEST Credit Africa Invset SA, abbreviated to “CREA INVEST”, is a 2nd category microfinance institution that became fully operational in 2018 under the new COBAC regulations. CREA INVEST has (in addition to its general management based in Douala – Bonapriso) several commercial branches in the cities of Douala, Yaoundé and Buea. Job Summary The Marketing Manager optimizes sales actions, proposes and implements promotional operations for our establishment’s products and services. The Marketing Manager carries out the company’s digital strategy to attract new prospects. He/she also ensures the development of communication actions towards various audiences in line with the establishment’s general strategy and across all channels.
Activities and tasks Monitoring and statistical analysis activity: (testing new products or services, studying consumer expectations, identifying people) with a view to producing reports and adapting tools. Production of sales support tools: (articles, surveys, infographics, calendar of events, etc.). (advertising at points of sale: posters, announcements, exhibition stands, etc.), etc. (videos, podcast, shooting photo…). Design of marketing strategies: (image, notoriety, values) and product offering (products, customers, prospects, partners) to refine targeting and segmentation Implementation of the operational marketing plan and performance analysis: (telemarketing, e -mailing, SMS, addressed letters, newsletters, etc.) with a view to increasing sales and/or retaining customers: identification of the target, writing, design, programming, sending and monitoring of results. (Respond to calls for tender and manage a showroom, reservation of space, assembly of exhibition stands, organization of the commercial presence, coordination of activities, etc.) such as workshops, meetings, conferences, trade fairs or other promotional events partners, agencies communication), negotiate contracts, etc. (on board) monitoring of marketing activity (at trade fairs, street marketing actions, etc.), online operations (e-mailing, competitions, publications on social networks, etc.) or even incoming contacts (after-sales service , emails, comments on digital platforms, etc.) Support for sales teams (training, coaching, mentoring, etc.) on the products and services of our establishment (partnerships, merchandising) and participate in the animation of commercial operations (agencies + headquarters) (emails and telephone calls) Communication animation: Establish a prospecting strategy and write a telephone script (aimed at anticipating replies and objections from customers/prospects). Organize telephone prospecting campaigns: prepare prospecting files and sales pitches; Write reports for said campaigns. Make telephone follow-ups to prospects/customers. Sell products Develop proposals for collaborations and the launch of a new product. Send reminder emails to partners/suppliers/customers/prospects. Conclude physical meetings with prospects/customers/partners Monitor the offer of products and services (search for suppliers/customers), establish continuity links; Publish calls for applications/recruitment offers on social networks

 Required skillss Knowledge: Very good knowledge of the products/services marketed in MFIs/Banks Very good knowledge of the operations carried out in MFIs/Banks Excellent knowledge of the market and companies in the banking/MFI sector Mastery of different marketing techniques Operational know-how: Perfect knowledge of the market: B2B, B2C, B2B2C, products, customers, marketing cycle Good command of marketing and communication tools and techniques Good command of software/applications (Office Pack/office applications, Banking and microfinance software, CRM, etc.) Have an excellent command of French and/or English Excellent writing skills Perfectly able to produce reports and dashboards Excellent knowledge of web environments, sociology of communities (language, social codes, jargon) Strong skills in management and team leadership, project management methodology Soft skills: Interpersonal skills Customer satisfaction oriented Sales skills Managerial and leadership skills Listening and communication skills Proposal strength and conviction Dynamism and responsiveness Negotiation skills Diplomacy skills Ease of working under pressure (achievement of results) Taste for numbers Autonomous Tenacity/resilience Stress management
 Experience At least 03 years in a similar position. Significant experience in a banking or microfinance institution would be an asset.
 Training / diplomas     Bac + 4/5 in Marketing, Communication, Commerce, Banking-Finance or similar discipline
