RECRUITMENT OF SIX (06) RAILROAD DRIVERS
CAMRAIL announces the launch of a competition for the recruitment of six (06) railcar drivers according to the following schedule and practical arrangements:
I. COMPETITION REGISTRATION Registration takes place at www.camrail.net no later than October 10, 2025 .
Application requirements:
- Be between 25 and 35 years old on the date of the competition
- Hold a vocational certificate (CAP) in mechanics, electricity, automotive mechanics or an equivalent recognized qualification.
II. DATE AND PLACE OF THE COMPETITION The competition will take place on Saturday, October 31, 2026, starting at 7:30 a.m. in Douala , Central Workshops of Bassa (CAMRAIL BP Cité).
Note: Only 50 candidates will be shortlisted for the competition.
III. APPLICATION FILE PREPARATION Documents to be provided during online registration (PDF or JPEG):
- Certified true copy of the required diploma (less than 3 months old)
- Certified true copy of the birth certificate (less than 3 months old)
- Certified photocopy of the national identity card
- Curriculum vitae with full address and telephone number of the candidate
IV. THE STAGES OF THE COMPETITION
The competition will take place in two (02) stages:
WRITTEN EXAMS The exams will cover the following subjects:
- Text analysis
- General knowledge
- Mathematics (failing grade: 10/20)
Candidates must arrive 30 minutes before the start of the first exam, with their National Identity Card. They must not have any paper or documents with them. The answer sheets and rough work sheets will be provided to them in the exam room.
The average passing grade after the written tests is ≥ 12/20 , with no failing grade.
MEDICAL FITNESS EXAMINATIONS AND PSYCHOTECHNICAL TESTS Only candidates declared eligible after the written tests will be summoned to undergo medical fitness examinations and psychotechnical tests.
The eligibility results, the final results of the competition and the start date of the training will be published on the website www.camrail.net .
