Job Description: Female Cashier
Salary: 90,000 XAF (start and trial period).
Job Summary
We are seeking for a reliable and efficient female Cashier for one of our clients who will be working in a cellar. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our customers and will play a key role in providing a positive experience. Your primary responsibilities will include processing transactions accurately, handling cash, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash, credit/debit card, and mobile payments securely.
• Provide change and issue receipts to customers.
• Greet customers warmly and answer their questions in a friendly manner.
• Assist customers with inquiries about product locations and promotions.
• Bag or package purchased items carefully.
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding payments, returns, and exchanges.
• Help with light stock maintenance and shelf-facing near the checkout zone when required.
Qualifications and Experience
• Gender: Female
• Age: Max 35 years.
• Education:: Min Advance level/Professional qualification in Commerce, Sales, Computerized Accounting and Management.
• Experience: Prior experience as a cashier in a supermarket is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Basic computer savvy, Microsoft Office package.
• Mathematical Skills: Good numerical skills for handling cash and giving correct change.
• Communication: Good verbal communication skills in English/French and local languages.
