Your mission:
To assist the lead declarant in their tasks and ensure effective control of declarations
before validation.
Your activities:
You will plan your work around the following activities:
• Verify the conformity of the elements of the declaration folder and their consistency with the
instructions of the customs officer;
• Create an anomaly report in case of a detected problem;
• Establish the provisional tariff coding status for all transit cells combined;
• Prepare DI requests;
• Analyze and group tariff positions (in case of multiple
tariff positions);
• Prepare SPCs and create requests for security deposits for seizure;
• Perform the preliminary check of the provisional declaration before affixing the
final BAV;
• Draft various correspondence (amendments, assessments, etc.);
• Intervene with Customs if necessary in case of misunderstanding by the inspector;
• Enter the coding sheet into CAMCIS to issue the provisional declaration.
Your profile:
▪ Education: High school diploma; CAMCIS training certificate;
Customs training certificate .
▪ Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar position.
Required skills:
▪ Thorough understanding of customs procedures, customs duties, and
tax obligations;
▪ Thorough understanding of customs clearance procedures;
▪ Thorough understanding of international business law, tax law, and transit techniques
(import/export);
▪ Knowledge of customs regulations.
Proficiency in:
▪ Office and IT management tools.

▪ Rigor and organization;
▪ Strong interpersonal skills;
▪ Adaptability;
▪ Ability to work under pressure.
