ADMINISTRATOR Reporting to: Head of Information Systems Department Number of Positions: 1 Contract Type: Permanent Location: General Management/Information Systems Department Job Mission The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the management, availability, performance, and security of the bank’s strategic databases, while guaranteeing compliance with internal and regulatory policies. Main Responsibilities Banking Security & Compliance: Implement enhanced security measures (encryption, segregation of duties, access control); • Ensure compliance with banking standards (AML/CFT, COBAC/BEAC regulations); • Traceability checks and logging; • Apply the bank’s IT Risk and Data Governance policies. Database Administration: Administer databases related to systems (Core Banking, Digital Services, Payment Methods, CRM and Business Intelligence tools); Manage high availability (RAC, Always On, Replication, Mirroring). Disaster Recovery Plan/Business Continuity Plan and Performance & Optimization: • Develop and maintain Disaster Recovery Plan and Business Continuity Plan policies; • Perform regular failover and restoration tests; • Ensure database, query, and index tuning ; • Monitor and analyze performance incidents. Support & Projects: • Work with the Core Banking, Payment & Digital Banking, Infrastructure, and Security teams; • Participate in version migrations and digital transformation projects (Replication, Mirroring). Candidate Profile 1. Required Academic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT Security, or a related field. Certifications in Oracle (OCA & OCP), Microsoft SQL Server, and ITIL database administration are required. 2. Professional Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in database administration, ideally within the banking sector. 3. Technical Knowledge/Skills: • In-depth knowledge of database management systems; Good knowledge and understanding of SQL, PL/SQL, and T-SQL; • Excellent knowledge of advanced backup solutions: RMAN, Veeam; • Thorough understanding of high availability and disaster recovery requirements and solutions;


4. Interpersonal/Leadership Skills: • High sense of confidentiality and integrity; Rigor and results orientation;
Good communication and teamwork skills;
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure;
• Good organizational skills; • Strict adherence to procedures
