We are actively looking for one of our clients based in Douala, a subsidiary of a large banking group:
A Deputy Marketing & Communication Manager
Responsibilities
– Participate in the development, implementation and management of the strategic plan marketing and
communication of the bank and make recommendations in terms of service policy, coverage
and market segmentation;
– Contribute to the development and optimization of the bank’s NBI;
– Collect and analyze market information in order to adapt the offer of services and products,
to guide the bank’s marketing and communication strategy;
– Support the department in carrying out projects and managing
performance indicators;
– Ensure that we meet customer expectations while seeking to differentiate ourselves from competitors;
– Contribute to the definition and coordination of the coherence of external and internal communication programs
according to the strategic positioning in order to guarantee the notoriety, image and
visual identity of the bank;
– Supervise and coordinate the activities of the marketing and communication teams and contribute to their
development;
– Analyze the results of marketing and communication campaigns, and provide recommendations
for improvement;
– Monitor market trends and propose innovations to remain competitive;
– Ensure competitive monitoring of
our competitors’ institutional communication campaigns, products, services and loyalty programs;
– Initiate and manage the monitoring of satisfaction surveys of different customer segments in
coordination with the commercial line;
– Identify growth niches with the aim of increasing account equipment
and strengthening profitability and customer loyalty;
– Participate in the development and monitoring of the marketing and communication budget;
– Prepare periodic reports.
Required profile
– Bac+4/5 training in marketing/communication or any other similar discipline;
– Minimum 7 years of experience in the marketing/communication sector and preferably in the
banking sector.
Required skills and abilities
– Excellent command of marketing and communication techniques;
– Excellent knowledge of banking processes and products;
– Control of banking risks;
– Good oral and written communication;
– Customer orientation and behavioral skills;
– Open-mindedness and aptitude for teamwork;
– Creativity and sense of innovation;
– Strong capacity for analysis and synthesis;
– Bilingualism would be an asset.
