Mission
As an Education Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the supervision and monitoring of students, directly contributing to their safety, well-being, and academic success. You will monitor absences and tardiness, liaise with families and the teaching staff, under the supervision of the CPE (Educational Advisor). You will support the school’s educational policy. You may be involved in the implementation of educational projects.
Profile
We are looking for an education assistant who can work as part of a team and adapt to the unique environment of the school. The candidate will be able to communicate effectively with students, will be attentive to their needs and difficulties, and will actively contribute to a positive school climate. This includes significant involvement in preventing and addressing harassment. The ability to exercise appropriate authority is valued, combining flexibility, firmness, and kindness, while encouraging students to become responsible.
Beginners are welcome; prior experience in youth work or youth leadership would be an asset.
This position is offered under a local employment contract.
