Main Mission:
Secure revenue generated from shipping declarations by ensuring their collection from various stations.
Activities:
– Collect all shipping declarations daily from designated stations;
– Verify the completeness of shipping declarations transmitted by station;
– Verify the strict conformity between the data on physical shipping declarations and the data entered in the OKAPI system;
– Verify the conformity of the agreed rate and its availability in the system;
– Correct any anomalies or inconsistencies in conjunction with the relevant departments;
– Validate compliant shipping declarations daily;
– Perform a physical reconciliation, for each client, of the documents required to accompany the invoice (shipping declarations, delivery notes, and potentially loading slips and customs declarations);
– Obtain signatures on invoices issued by the Billing Department Manager;
– Forward invoices against receipt to the Collections Department (Account Customers) or Customer Service (TPA Customers)
; – Process and follow up on all complaints;
– Participate monthly in the preparation of freight billing reports.
Profile
: Hold at least a two-year post-secondary degree (Bac +2) in Accounting and/or Finance or any equivalent recognized diploma;
Have at least three (3) years of experience in the finance, management, or transportation sector.
