For its operational needs, the Quality and Services Department of PANZANI CAMEROUN SA is seeking candidates for the position of: HSE Supervisor (1) in Douala.
Purpose of the position: To ensure the control of occupational risks and the implementation of the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policy, while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Main responsibilities: Coordinate the execution of HSE studies related to the site’s industrial activities, in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements; Identify, analyze, and continuously update the site’s occupational risks; Develop and/or update the Single Document for the Evaluation of Occupational Risks (DUERP); Monitor the development and updating of cleaning and phytosanitary treatment plans ; Ensure compliance with contractual requirements regarding prevention and protection, particularly fire safety; Raise awareness and train staff on good HSE practices; Participate in incident analysis and propose corrective actions. Profile/Key skills: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, or a related field; At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar position, ideally in an industrial setting; Good knowledge of problem-solving methods (fault tree analysis, 5W2H, diagrams, Pareto analysis, etc.); Good knowledge of principles, standards, and regulations, and of risk and hazard analysis; Proficiency in procedure writing techniques. They must possess: A sense of confidentiality, analytical and synthesis skills, listening and discernment skills, rigor and organizational skills.
