Job Summary
The IT intern will assist the IT department in maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, system administration, technical support, network monitoring, and basic cybersecurity activities. They will work under the supervision of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and may provide backup support to ensure the continuity of IT operations.
Required Skills and Expertise
• Basic knowledge of IT maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLAN, DHCP, DNS). •
Basic knowledge of IT security. •
Familiarity
with system administration (Windows Server, Active Directory).
• Sense of responsibility, rigor, and a service-oriented mindset.
• Team spirit, motivation, and a willingness to learn.
Main Responsibilities
: Provide technical support to users (levels 1 & 2).
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on computer hardware.
• Configure, install, and prepare computer equipment (workstations, peripherals, software). • Participate in the monitoring of the network architecture (LAN, Wi-Fi, cabling, patching).
• Perform basic network performance monitoring. • Contribute to IT security activities (updates, patches, application of best practices).
• Participate in system administration tasks (user management, access rights, shared resources).
Write and update technical documentation. Required Qualifications:
Student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Networks & Security, or any related field.
