SURVEY ON FORCED DISPLACEMENTS
CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
I. Context and Justification
Cameroon hosts more than 2 million forcibly displaced people, including 1,066,254 internally displaced persons, 645,746 IDP returnees and 477,277 refugees and asylum seekers (September 2023). This situation involves the production of quality data to measure the efforts of the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) in order to safeguard the rights and well-being of people in forced displacement and to achieve the objective of become, by 2025, a producer of credible and reliable data. In its effort to integrate and harmonize its work on household surveys, UNHCR established a new global survey program called Forced Displacement Survey (FDS) for which Cameroon was chosen. It is within this framework that service contract no. 1 1 101 Y24P012577 was signed on February 15, 2024 between the UNHCR and the National Institute of Statistics (INS). This contract provides for mapping, enumeration and data collection work from the Forced Displaced Persons Survey (EDF).
To this end, the Director General of the National Institute of Statistics is launching a call for applications for the pre-selection of 25 cartographer/enumerator agents, 06 identifier agents of households sheltering refugees and 105 investigators, for a fixed-term contract:
II. Job description:
11.1 Mapping agent/enumerator and household identifier.
11.1.1 Purpose of the contract: the Agent will be responsible for carrying out, using tablets, mapping and enumeration operations in the towns/villages/neighborhoods assigned to him.

11.1.2 Candidate profile
be of Cameroonian nationality. male or female, enjoying good physical health; be at least 21 years old and at most 45 years old as of January 1, 2024, hold at least a baccalaureate or any other equivalent diploma; be free from any commitment during the period corresponding to the work requested as well as during the training period; be ready to serve in all regions of Cameroon concerned by the survey, both in urban and rural areas have a good ability to work in a team and in the field, have experience in using IT tools and knowledge of cartography would be an asset; having experience in statistical household surveys using tablets will be an asset, being a resident or having resided for at least one year in one of the Regions concerned by the survey (certificate of residence); have good knowledge of reading geographic maps.
11.1.3 Working language: speak at least one of the official languages, and at least one national language spoken in the survey locations.
11.1.4 Duration of the contract: 30 days.

.11.2 Investigating agents.
11.2.1 Purpose of the contract: the Agent will be responsible for collecting data, using tablets, from sample households in the towns/villages/neighborhoods assigned to him.
11.2.2 Candidate profile
• be of Cameroonian nationality, male or female, enjoying good physical health;
• be at least 21 years old and at most 45 years old on January 1, 2024,
hold at least a baccalaureate or any other equivalent diploma, be free from any commitment during the period corresponding to the work requested as well as during the training period; be ready to serve in all regions of Cameroon concerned by the survey, both in urban and rural areas have a good ability to work in a team and in the field, have experience in using IT tools would be an asset, having experience in statistical household surveys with reuse of tablets will be an asset; be a resident or have resided for at least one year in one of the Regions concerned by the survey (certificate of residence); have good knowledge of reading geographic maps.

Step 2: .Register
– The user must have an account to be able to apply for an application.
Register (for any new user) To Register. click the “register” button located on the far right of the menu bar. Follow the steps successively until the registration form is validated.
Step 3: Account activation
You will receive an email following validation of the registration form. This email will contain a link which will redirect you to the application and a temporary password (you could change this temporary password in the required space) which you will have to use for reactivation.
Step 4: Log in
To log in, you must enter your credentials (e-mail and password).
During your first authentication, you will be redirected to an information page where you must fill out your profile information.
NB: This step will only be done once on the application during the first authentication on the platform. For the next authentications, you will just need to enter your credentials to access your session.
Step 5: Consult the offers
To see the different applications present on the application, click on the “Applications” button located on the right on the menu bar.
On the “Applications” page you have all the projects and positions offered.
To have more detailed information on an offer, click on the “Apply” button located below the EDF project that catches your attention. This will take you to the description of the project and the position offered.
Step 6: Send your application
After viewing the details of an offer, if you wish to send your application:
-Click on the “Continue” button located at the top and bottom of the page. You will then be redirected to another page.
-Complete the form on the following page and click on the “Apply” button at the bottom of the page to send your application.

Step 7: Validate
Once you have entered all the information and you have clicked on the
Yes button, certify the accuracy of the information provided, then validate.
Step 8: Confirmation of application
You will receive an email containing your receipt confirming that your application has been sent to your email address.
Step 9:
Stick a copy of the receipt on the envelope containing your physical application file and submit said file to the Regional Agency of your place of residence.
