Title: Manager, Financial Management and Operations
Role Overview:
The Manager will be responsible for overseeing and improving the financial management and operational efficiency
of Yummy Greens. This role involves an in-depth understanding of the restaurant and
hospitality industry, effective logistics management and implementation of systems for sustainable growth.
Main responsibilities:
• Financial management:
o Develop and implement rigorous financial strategies and systems.
o Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
o Ensure financial compliance and manage risks effectively.
• Operations Management:
o Streamline operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
o Improve supply chain management, with a focus on
local sourcing and sustainability.
o Oversee the implementation of technology solutions to improve service delivery
.
• Growth and development:
o Identify and capitalize on business expansion opportunities.
o Implement strategies to improve customer experience and satisfaction.
o Foster relationships with local suppliers and partners to support
community impact goals.
• Leadership and team development:
o Lead, supervise and develop the operational team.
o Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Reporting and Analytics:
o Provide insightful data-driven reports to the CEO and stakeholders.
o Analyze market trends and competitor activities.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s and Master’s degrees in business administration, finance, hotel management or
a related field.
• Proven experience in financial management and operations, preferably in the restaurant
or hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management and
sustainable business practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Mastery of financial software and technological tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English and French is mandatory.
• Experience working in retail, consumer, F&B and hospitality
in Africa an asset.
