PRESS RELEASE CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF PERMANENT AND TEMPORARY TEACHING STAFF AT THE JOHN PAUL II INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY
As part of the implementation of the strategic orientations of the Five-Year Development Plan 2026-2031, adopted by the Scientific Council of the International University Jean-Paul II of Bafang, and in accordance with the institution’s desire to sustainably strengthen the quality of its training offer, consolidate its academic excellence and support the progressive expansion of its training programs, the administration informs the university community and the public of the opening of a call for applications for the recruitment of permanent and temporary teachers.
This recruitment campaign is part of the institutional policy of professionalizing higher education, developing scientific research, strengthening teaching supervision and continuously improving the academic performance of the University.
I. VACANCIES Applications are open for the following positions: Permanent Teachers, Part-time Teachers
Recruitment is open across all of the University’s institutions, schools, and programs, particularly in the following fields: Health (Nursing, Midwifery, Biomedical Laboratory, Physiotherapy, etc.), Industrial (Computer Science, Automation, Networks, etc.), Civil Engineering (Building and Public Works), Hospitality, Tourism, and Catering, and all other specializations corresponding to the University’s training programs.
II. REQUIRED PROFILE Candidates must, in particular: Hold a PhD, a Master’s degree (Master II), or an equivalent qualification; Demonstrate proven teaching and scientific competence; Demonstrate high moral character and impeccable professional integrity; Adhere to the Christian, ethical, and humanist values upheld by the International John Paul II University of Bafang
III. APPLICATION FILE COMPOSITION The application file must include, in particular: A stamped application addressed to the University’s Chief Administrator A detailed and up-to-date curriculum vitae A certified copy of diplomas obtained A certified copy of the birth certificate issued within the last three months A photocopy of the National Identity Card Two academic or professional letters of recommendation (preferably for permanent staff) Supporting documents for professional experience A photocopy of the baptismal certificate Any document deemed useful for evaluating the application
IV. SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS Complete applications must be submitted to the University Rectorate or sent electronically to the University’s official email address no later than August 20, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. via email to the following address: infos@uijpbafang.org . Any incomplete application or application submitted after the deadline will be rejected.
V. SELECTION PROCEDURE The selection process will include: Review of application files An interview before a recruitment committee Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted The University reserves the right not to proceed with certain applications if the profiles do not meet the academic and institutional requirements
