Context
As part of strengthening administrative management and continuous process improvement in the Human Resources Department, the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) Cameroon wishes to welcome a professional intern.
The use of an intern aims to provide support for daily activities and to contribute to maintaining the operational efficiency of the department.
This internship is also part of WCS Cameroon’s commitment to contributing to the skills development of young professionals by offering them practical experience in a structured, demanding work environment that complies with good human resource management practices.
Given the nature of the tasks and the expected level of autonomy, this internship is intended for a young professional who has completed their academic training and wishes to consolidate their experience in human resources management. The intern must be able to quickly integrate into the department’s operations and provide operational support to various activities, under the supervision of the Human Resources team.
2. Internship Objective
The main objective of the internship is to allow the intern to acquire practical professional experience in the field of human resources management, through supervised participation in the department’s activities.
The internship is designed as a structured learning opportunity, geared towards acquiring professional skills in HR administrative management.
3. Areas of learning for the trainee
Specifically, the internship will allow the intern to:
Understanding the operation and organization of a Human Resources department;
To become familiar with the main administrative personnel management processes;
Develop practical skills in human resources administration, document management and archiving;
Participate in monitoring employee administrative files, under the supervision of the HR team;
To acquire knowledge of internal procedures, HR policies and best practices in human resource management.
This internship is first and foremost an opportunity for professional development, allowing the intern to consolidate the knowledge gained from their academic training, to develop their autonomy and to strengthen their practical skills in a demanding professional environment.
4. Trainee Profile
– Hold a degree in HR or a related field;
– To have completed one’s academic training;
– Demonstrate at least six (06) months of experience (professional internship or first job) in human resources administration or in a similar position.

5. Internship Conditions
Internship based in Garoua
3-month contract renewable subject to the intern’s commitment and financial availability
