The Ambassador of Brazil to the Republic of Cameroon announces that, in accordance with the provisions of Decree 1570 of July 21, 1995, and the Order of September 12, 1995, of the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the selection process for a Support Assistant at the Ambassador’s Residence is now open. The position is open, according to the terms below, to any person of Cameroonian nationality or any other nationality holding a valid work permit.
Required Profile:
Must be at least 18 years old;
β€’ High school diploma (or equivalent);
β€’ At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar position;
β€’ Knowledge of Brazilian and international cuisine;


β€’ Oral and written knowledge of French and English. Knowledge of Portuguese would be an asset:

Main Duties and Skills:
β€’ Prepare meals in compliance with hygiene and food safety standards:
– Develop menus adapted to the Ambassador’s needs and
official events:
β€’ Ensure the preparation and service of meals during receptions, meetings, and official events:
– Ensure the quality, presentation, and punctuality of meals served:
β€’ Maintain and clean the kitchen, equipment, and utensils:
β€’ Manage supplies. Food storage and stock control:
β€’ Respect confidentiality and internal chancery guidelines:
Cooperate with chancery staff and demonstrate flexible working hours according to service needs:

General Provisions
The working hours are Monday to Saturday. The employee may be required to work other times and, consequently, must demonstrate a high degree of flexibility.
The selection process will consist of two phases: First phase – interview with the Head of Administration / Second phase – interview with the Ambassador.
