As part of its business development, BLESSING PETROLEUM SA is launching a call for applications for the recruitment of one (01) Accountant Treasurer in the city of Douala.
JOB DESCRIPTION As a Treasurer Accountant, your main activity will consist of ensuring the payments, accounting and reporting of treasury operations, in compliance with the guidelines received and legal, regulatory and contractual requirements.
MISSIONS Reporting to the Head of the Treasury and Finance Department, your main responsibilities will be as follows: Execute company disbursements in accordance with agreed deadlines Ensure compliance of withholdings and related declarations Update bank journals and summary statements (cash position, forecast, etc.) in real time Actively participate in the monthly and annual closing of departmental activities Participate in financial analyses and periodic account closings Participate in the preparation of cash reserves Participate in the negotiation and monitoring of pricing conditions with banks and credit insurers Participate in the optimization of the company’s cash flow Participate in the preparation of treasury operations Ensure the posting and entry of accounting documents in accordance with standards and recommendations Oversee the reconciliation and matching of cash accounts and other third-party accounts related to the Treasury Ensure the legal and regulatory compliance of operations carried out Participate in legal and regulatory monitoring to guarantee compliance Treasury activities: Ensuring the reporting of activities
PROFILE SOUGHT Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (Bac +3) to Master’s degree (Bac +5) in Accounting, Finance, or any other equivalent degree Significant professional experience of at least 5 years in the position or in a similar role Sound knowledge of OHADA accounting Sound knowledge of corporate taxation Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites, particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint Excellent time management and prioritization skills, results-oriented Must be under 30 years of age
Desired qualifications: Proficient in SAGE X3; ability to analyze financial risks and recommend solutions; sound knowledge of trade finance instruments; proven professional experience in petroleum product distribution or a related field (an asset); fluent English
