ABOUT US
@fric Payment Solutions (@PS) is a FinTech company specializing in the design, development and
the operation of secure, scalable and compliant digital payment solutions and financial services
to international standards.
As part of strengthening its Frontend team, @PS is looking for a UI/UX Designer responsible for
designing intuitive, accessible and consistent interfaces for its platforms (web and mobile), in close
collaboration with the Lead Frontend and the team developers.
MAIN MISSIONS
The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for the quality and consistency of the user experience across the entire system.
@PS products (@fricX, SmartPay, internal applications). In this role, they will be required to:
1. User research & experience
● Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing sessions to identify the
needs and points of friction.
● Develop personas, user journeys, and experience maps

● Analyze user feedback and usage data to guide design decisions.
2. Interface design & design system
● Design interactive wireframes, mockups and prototypes (Figma) for web applications and
mobiles.
● Develop and maintain the design system / UI Kit @PS, ensuring visual consistency between the
products (teal charter #019393, typography, components).
● Define and develop design tokens (colors, spacing, typography) in collaboration with the team
Frontend.
3. Prototyping & testing
● Create high-fidelity prototypes to validate critical processes (payment, registration, KYC, etc.) before
development.
● Organize user tests (moderated or unmoderated) and iterate on the prototypes based on the
results.
● Implement A/B tests on key journeys in collaboration with the Product and Frontend teams.
4. Collaboration with the frontend team
● Work in tandem with the Lead Frontend and developers to ensure a clear handoff
(specifications, assets, interaction behaviors).
● Participate in the agile rituals of the Frontend team (sprint planning, design reviews, demonstrations).
● Ensure the technical feasibility of the proposed designs and adjust the mock-ups according to the constraints
development.
5. Accessibility & Quality
● Ensure compliance with accessibility (WCAG) and ergonomics standards across all interfaces.
● Conduct regular UX/UI audits on existing products and suggest areas for improvement
continue.
● Document design choices and maintain an up-to-date component library.
6. Design & Innovation Monitoring
● Actively monitor UI/UX trends, particularly in the FinTech and mobile payment sectors.
● Propose interface innovations to differentiate @PS products (@fricX, SmartPay) in the market
CEMAC.
PROFILE SOUGHT
● Bachelor’s degree (3 years of higher education) to Master’s degree (5 years of higher education) in UI/UX Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Ergonomics or equivalent.
● Proven experience of at least 2 to 5 years in web and mobile interface design, ideally in the field of
SaaS products, FinTech or high-traffic applications.
● Portfolio demonstrating mastery of the complete design process (research, wireframing, prototyping,
tests).
● Proficient in Figma (components, auto-layout, prototyping); knowledge of Adobe XD/Sketch.

● Strong sensitivity to user experience, accessibility and visual consistency of a design system.
● Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and understanding of frontend development constraints (React/Vue)
appreciated.
● Ability to work closely with developers and defend design choices
with user-centric arguments.
