UNITY CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY (UNICS) Plc, a Category 2 Microfinance Institution with a share capital of 1,600,000,000 FCFA, registered under RCCM number RC/YAO/2020/M/279, with headquarters located in Yaoundé (Central Market, opposite Katios), is recruiting two (02) Recovery Agents for service requirements.
I.GENERAL INFORMATION

II. MAIN MISSIONS
Recovery Agent
Head of Legal, Litigation and Recovery Department

Fixed-term contract
The Recovery Agent shall be responsible for:
. Strategic Development: Designing and proposing debt clearance plans tailored to the specific profile of each debtor.
Negotiation: Concluding settlement agreements and ensuring rigorous monitoring of payment schedules.


Field Action: Conducting regular field visits (proximity recovery) to the debtors’ residences or places of business.
Network Support: Assisting Branch Managers in monitoring loan files as soon as the first unpaid installations occur.
Pre-litigation Management: Preparing complete files for transfer to the litigation department, law firms, or bailiffs.
Reporting: Producing detailed weekly and monthly reports (recovery rates, amounts recovered vs. targets).
III. CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience:
Qualification: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Private Law or Legal Career
Experience: At least 02 years of successful experience in debt recovery (Banking/Microfinance sector) or within a Law Firm.
Technical Skills
• Perfect mastery of recovery procedures (friendly and forced).
Solid knowledge of OHADA procedures (particularly enforcement proceedings). Excellent drafting skills (reports, legal correspondence).
• Proficiency in IT tools (Excel is mandatory).
⚫ Fluency in English is a significant asset.
Personal Qualities
• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
Rigor, integrity, and a high sense of ethics.
Ability to work under pressure and result-oriented (quantitative targets). High mobility and availability for frequent field trips.
