As part of fulfilling its social mission and developing its activities, the association One Woman Business is offering 5 paid professional internship positions to motivated, passionate candidates residing in the city of Yaoundé in the following areas: Junior Project Assistant, Content Creation & Event Management. Over a period of 3 to 6 months, they will have the opportunity to gain significant hands-on experience, with the possibility of a fixed-term contract (CDD) upon successful completion.
1. Junior Project Assistant
As a professional intern in project management, under the supervision of the Project Director, you will participate in the following tasks:
- Project design, planning, execution, and evaluation;
- Participation in project activities, monitoring and reporting on project deliverables at each stage of the project lifecycle;
- Communication and reporting on activities, progress of deliverables as per specifications, and resolutions made during project meetings.
Target Profile
- Student or graduate in project management, marketing, business administration, or a related field;
- Possesses initiative, exceptional intellectual ability, strong communication skills, organization, professionalism, and remains calm under pressure;
- Has a solid knowledge and command of technical tools associated with project management;
- Good command of both French and English is an advantage for this position;
- Must be available for the entire duration of the internship.
2. Content Creation & Event Management Assistant
Primary Assignments:
Communications:
- Participate in the design and production of educational, engaging, and instructive content;
- Create and publish content and communication materials for social media and other digital channels;
- Create, manage, and develop thematic digital communities;
- Develop relationships with traditional and digital media.
Event Management:
- Participate in the design, planning, organization, and coordination of events (conferences, workshops, fairs, social gatherings);
- Produce activity reports and participate in monitoring and evaluation.
Target Profile
Education: Student or graduate in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
Skills:
- Proficiency in office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Mastery of digital communication (social media, email, web, etc.);
- Excellent analytical, public speaking, oral expression, writing, and communication skills;
- Organizational skills, rigor, creativity, dynamism, and motivation;
- Good level of emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and under pressure.
Personal Qualities:
- Passion for communication, event management, entrepreneurship, social issues, and matters related to women and youth;
- Available and flexible.
