DWB is a non-governmental humanitarian organization, created in France in 1971, under the status of a non-profit association. The
Swiss section was created in 1981. Nobel Peace Prize winner in 1999, MSF’s mission is to provide humanitarian medical aid to any
affected population without distinction of ethnicity, gender, religion, philosophy or political opinion.
