Objective of the position: Under the direct responsibility of the SERA Manager of the base, the collection agents
are responsible for collecting all the necessary data from the various stakeholders of the projects implemented by ACF in strict compliance with quality requirements. This involves supporting the contextualization of collection tools during training, contributing to the translation of tools into the local languages ​​of their different areas of action, pre-testing of tools, administering tools to different targets in compliance with the principles of the organization, data entry and restitution of collection activities. As data collection agents are identified based on membership and residence criteria within the different intervention locations, they may, if necessary, be mobilized for community awareness-raising support activities. Diploma / Level of studies: At least a baccalaureate, general or technical secondary education, all series combined / GCE AL or any other equivalent diploma. BEPC level applications from people with good experience in data collection and a perfect command of the languages ​​of the intervention locations will be admissible Required skills:  Good command of French and knowledge of at least one local language of the intervention location are required;  Fluency in several languages ​​of the intervention localities will be an asset;  Good knowledge of the economic and socio-cultural contexts of the intervention areas;  Experience in conducting surveys with various types of targets (individuals, households, local administration, sectoral) will be an asset;  Experience in conducting individual and group interviews will be an asset;  Experience in collecting mobile data will be an asset;

Knowledge of gender concepts and accountability principles will be an asset.
Aptitude:
 Be at least 18 years old;
 Reside in the chosen department and speak at least one of the local languages;
 Be of good moral character;
 Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
 Strong ability to adapt to hard-to-reach areas;
 Dynamic, rigorous and respectful of established rules

Main Tasks:
Mission 1: Collection of quantitative data from individuals and households
– Actively participate in the various training sessions;
– Identify and locate the targets to be surveyed;
– Conduct interviews with the targets, ensuring that they fully understand the questions
asked;
– Apply humanitarian principles;
– Respect the dignity of the respondents during the collection;
– Write a daily report in the required format.
Mission 2: Collection of qualitative data through individual and group interviews
– Actively participate in the various training sessions;
– Contact the targets to be surveyed;
– Conduct individual or group interviews;
– Take notes during individual or group interviews;
– Apply humanitarian principles;
– Respect the dignity of respondents during collection;
– Write a daily report in the required format. Mission 3: Support for awareness-raising on accountability and the organization ‘s safeguarding policy – Support the mobilization of targets; – Manage translation during meetings and community awareness-raising. Gender approach: – Commit to respecting and applying ACF’s gender policy; – Integrate the gender approach into activities; – Contribute to a working environment that takes into account the specificities of each individual and avoids any discrimination; – The employee must follow at least one training course on Safeguarding, respect the ACF Safeguarding-PSEA policy, ensure it is respected and applied for the duration of their contract. RECRUITMENT PROCEDURE The Action Against Hunger recruitment procedure includes 3 key stages: 1.
