II- JOB PROFILE
– Be of Cameroonian nationality;
– Hold a Doctorate/Ph.D in an open specialty;
– Demonstrate pedagogical experience;
– To be able to initiate or participate in the design and implementation of research projects developed at the University of Yaoundé I.


III- APPLICATION FILE COMPOSITION
Application files must include the following documents:
1. A stamped application dated less than three (03) months prior, addressed to the Rector of the University of Yaoundé I;
2. One (01) certified copy of the Birth Certificate dated less than three (03) months prior;
3. One (01) detailed and signed Curriculum Vitae;
4. Certified copies of all diplomas obtained from the Baccalaureate or GCE A-Level onwards;
5. A copy of the Doctoral/Ph.D. thesis;
6. Copies of articles or offprints of publications, if applicable;
7. A medical certificate dated less than three (03) months and issued by a doctor practicing in a public hospital:
8. Four (04) 4×4 passport photos (in color):
9. One (01) copy of the National Identity Card or the valid receipt;
10. One (01) certificate of service as a permanent lecturer at the University of Origin, duly signed by a competent authority, for candidates for the ranks of Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, and Full Professor;
11. An extract from criminal record certificate no. 3 dated three (03) months prior;
12. A certificate of nationality and/or, for candidates residing abroad, photocopies of the passport and residence permit certified by the Cameroonian consular services;
13. Any
document justifying
teaching experience (teaching hours, pedagogy seminars, research laboratories, learned societies);
14. For candidates requesting a change of position: 14.1-A certificate of actual attendance duly signed by a competent authority;
14.2-Prior authorization from the relevant Minister or the head of the relevant administration;
15. For candidates with disabilities:
A copy of the disability card;
16. For candidates residing abroad:
A sworn statement attesting to the candidate’s actual availability;
17. A sworn statement attesting to the authenticity of the
documents submitted, (ii) the absence of any situation that could give rise
to double salary status.

IV- SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS
Candidates must submit their applications to only one institution at a time.
Candidates residing in Cameroon must submit their complete applications no later than July 10, 2026, without exception, to the Directorate of Academic Affairs and Cooperation (DAAC) of the University of Yaoundé I, and those residing abroad must submit their applications to Diplomatic Missions and Consular Posts no later than July 10, 2026, without exception.
