MATGENIE was created in 1967 to make civil engineering equipment available to economic operators. Pursuant to Decree No. 2015/183 of April 7, 2015 transforming the National Park of Civil Engineering Equipment, MATGENIE ceases to be a Public Establishment of an Industrial and Commercial Character (EPIC) to become a Public Capital Company (SCP). ) and its scope of intervention is extended in the field of construction. It can therefore now also carry out civil engineering work.
