ECOBANK Cameroon is recruiting for its services,
(01) Service Officer Card Operations who can work throughout the national territory.
This position is based in Douala.
JOB LEVEL: 3 / JOB GRADE: 2A
I. MAIN OBJECTIVE
Ensure the management of cards, including ordering, distribution, and settlement
of transactions.
Actively participate in the implementation of the bank’s strategy regarding
customer onboarding on new digital solutions.
Carry out third-party settlement operations VISA / MasterCard / GIMAC etc.
II. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the collection of bank revenues relating to cards and digital products.
Contribute to improving customer service by ensuring better management of complaints and
better operation of cards and digital solutions.
Reduce or intercept acts of internal fraud.
Ensure continuity of service for the card and digital product activity.
Load prepaid cards and process card orders.
Reprocess rejections.
Update the card order tracking file.
Reconcile partner transactions daily.
Reconcile/Proof accounts related to card activities and clear outstanding balances.
Resolve customer complaints related to unsuccessful transactions in compliance with SLAs.
Provide transaction statistics.
Propose/initiate the review of procedures relating to card production, digital products and
complaints management.
Ensure the production of regulatory reports related to this activity.
Carry out any other tasks defined by management.
III. JOB PROFILE
Experience
At least 2 years of experience in the banking sector, particularly a good knowledge of
digital products and electronic banking.
Good command of current financial and banking regulations.
Strong analytical skills, including interpretation and problem-solving techniques.
Excellent knowledge of banking regulations,
foreign exchange regulations and domiciliation.
Bilingual – English, French.
Qualifications
Higher education Bac + 3/4 preferably in finance, management, accounting, marketing or other
related disciplines.
Skills and knowledge
Excellent communication and teamwork skills .
Good command of current financial
and banking regulations. Good command of current
electronic banking regulations . Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of risk management. Bilingual French/English would be an asset.
