Main mission of the position

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales strategy in Cameroon while ensuring day-to-day operational tasks (calls, prospecting, customer follow-up, lead follow-ups). He/she is responsible for revenue growth, lead conversion, and structuring the sales team in the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute local sales strategies to achieve set sales objectives.
  • Actively manage incoming leads: phone calls, WhatsApp, emails.
  • Convert prospects into customers by effectively presenting Prepdia’s offerings.
  • Ensure rigorous follow-up of all leads: reminders, responses, management of the customer database.
  • Participate in the recruitment, training and future supervision of sales agents.
  • Implement monitoring tools (dashboards, daily reporting).
  • Work hand in hand with marketing and operations teams to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Measure sales performance using KPIs: number of registrations, conversion rate, average basket, etc.
  • Be a driving force in improving sales pitches, sales arguments and processes.
  • Provide regular feedback on customer objections, market behavior and local opportunities.

Profile sought

  • Minimum Bac +3 in commerce, marketing, management or related discipline.
  • At least 4 years of professional experience , including at least 2 years in a commercial coordination or supervision role (even of a small team).
  • Proven experience in direct sales, customer relations and business prospecting .
  • Very comfortable with digital tools (Google Sheets, CRM, WhatsApp Business, etc.).
  • Excellent spoken and written French – fluency in English is an asset.
  • Strong communication, persuasion, organizational and time management skills .
  • Having an MBA or Master 2 in management or business strategy is a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge of the education or personal services sector is a plus.

  • Fixed-term contract, renewable based on performance.
