CFAO CONSUMER is recruiting on behalf of the CARREFOUR WARDA hypermarket:
We are looking for a Department Manager (M/F) based in Cameroon.
Job Description:
Manage the activities of the FMCG, Perfumery, and Household Goods departments
; Manage sales and results by ensuring the achievement of objectives that they help define with their Director, in compliance with the brand’s policies;
Manage teams with a focus on optimal customer satisfaction and employee development;
Lead and organize the commercial activities of the departments concerned;
Ensure proper control of profit margins and all operating costs for their department;
Advise, assist, monitor, and develop the department managers;
Contribute to compliance with social and societal rules within the supermarket environment and uphold the brand’s image;
Represent the Hypermarket Director in their absence and oversee the fresh produce department in the absence of their colleague, the Fresh Produce Department Manager.
Desired profile:
Bachelor’s degree (Bac +4) in business or management, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in B2C (5 years).
Technical skills.
Experience in team management.
Customer relationship management

Team leadership.
Knowledge of FMCG and non-food products. Soft
skills:
Analytical,
synthesis,
self-control,
customer focus
, teamwork/networking,
problem-solving, organization/proactiveness, results-oriented. Weekend and evening work required. French/English.
