Main Mission The Senior Group Accountant contributes to ensuring the reliability, regularity, and compliance of the Group’s consolidated accounting operations. He ensures the quality of financial information, compliance with local and international accounting standards (CIMA, SYSCOHADA, IFRS), and adherence to closing deadlines. He also contributes to the harmonization of accounting practices within subsidiaries. 2. Main Responsibilities A. Accounting and Closings • between subsidiaries. • Actively participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures. • Ensure the proper application of accounting procedures and the Group’s chart of accounts. B. Control and Compliance • Ensure the compliance of accounting entries with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements. • Coordinate with external auditors and internal auditors. • Identify and correct accounting anomalies or allocation discrepancies. • Participate in updating the financial and accounting procedures manual. C. Reporting and Analysis • Produce accounting and financial performance dashboards. • Contribute to budget preparation and variance analysis between forecasts and actual results. D. Subsidiary Support • Provide technical support to local accounting teams. • Train and support subsidiary accountants in the application of Group procedures. • Participate in the harmonization and digitalization of accounting processes at the regional level. 3. Required Profile Education: • Bachelor’s degree (Bac +4/5) in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or equivalent (Master’s, DSCG, DECOFI, etc.) • ACCA certification would be an asset, or proven experience in a Big Four firm handling statutory audit engagements for insurance groups . Experience : • Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a similar position, ideally in the insurance sector.

Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in SYSCOHADA/CIMA accounting standards.
• Good knowledge of the CIMA regulatory framework.
• Proficiency in an accounting ERP system (SAGE, SAP, or equivalent).
• Excellent command of Excel and financial reporting tools.
Soft Skills:
• Rigor and attention to detail.
• Analytical and synthesis skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple subsidiaries.
• Sense of deadlines and confidentiality.
• Good written and oral communication skills (French and English).
4. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Compliance with Group closing deadlines.
• Post-closing error or adjustment rate.
• Compliance rate with internal procedures and accounting standards.
• Quality of reporting and financial analysis.
• Level of autonomy of subsidiaries after initial support.
