Job Summary
The Security Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing security policies and procedures to protect the organization’s assets, personnel, and information. This role manages security operations, and leads incident response efforts to maintain a safe and secure environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities.
Manage security systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.
Train and supervise security personnel.
Respond to security incidents and lead investigations.
Prepare and maintain security reports and documentation.
Manage security budgets and coordinate with external vendors and agencies.
Collaborate with internal teams (HR, IT, Facilities) for integrated security strategies.
Ensure compliance with local government.
Key Requirements
Education & Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
Professional certification in security management.
Minimum of ten (10) years relevant work experience in security management
